Lukas Modric makes his way to Real Madrid

Tottenham midfielder, Luka Modric could be moved to Real Madrid shortly.

According to 24sata.hr (Croatian website), Modric and Real have agreed to contract already. The only big issue is Tottenham’s selling price.

Sources close to Modric have been quoted as saying: "Everything has been resolved. Luka and Real Madrid agree on everything."

"There is a little more difficulty with the position of Tottenham but everything will be solved and will be resolved quickly."

Madrid has been reportedly expected to spend £40 million for the transfer fee.

Madrid might have competition. Upon Daily Mail, Chelsea have rekindled their interest in Modric after reportedly having a £40 million offer turned down last summer.

Modric, 26, joined Tottenham from Dinamo Zagreb in 2008.
